Getting around the ridges/regions
If you do not live in a major city or town, there may be limited options for "getting around" other than in your own car. However, many regional towns have maxi-taxis.
Even if you cannot drive yourself, having a car that you can use is an important part of getting around.
If you can drive, and do not live in a major town, you might also want to modify different forms of getting around so you can do the things you did before. Some people with disabilities have modified four-wheeler motorbikes and four-wheel-drives to enable them to enjoy the things they did before their accident.
